Terms of service

All orders on products excluding Custom cakes must be placed minimum 5 days before the pick-up or delivery date.

Custom cake orders must be placed 10 days before the pick-up or delivery date.

Order Modifications

Any changes to your order must be requested and finalized at least 5 days prior to the pick-up/delivery date. Changes requested after this period cannot be accommodated.

Refunds and Cancellations

All payments, including deposits and final balances, are non-refundable. This policy applies to cancellations or changes that result in reduced quantities or value.

Responsibility for Orders After Pick-Up

Once your order has been picked up or delivered, Merry Bakez Inc. is no longer responsible for any damages to the product. Please handle and transport your items with care.

Allergy Disclaimer

Merry Bakez Inc. products are made in a facility that may process nuts, dairy, gluten, and other allergens.

It is the customer's responsibility to inform their guests of potential allergens. Merry Bakez Inc. is not liable for any allergic reactions.

Design and Artistic Interpretation

Merry Bakez Inc. will make every effort to replicate design requests as closely as possible. However, due to the handcrafted nature of our products, minor variations in design, colour, and decoration may occur. These variations do not warrant refunds or discounts.

Pick-Up and Delivery

Pickup is at River Grove community centre. Customers are responsible for promptly picking up their orders at the agreed time. Merry Bakez Inc. is not liable for issues caused by delays in pick-up.

Pick up times:

Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 8 PM

Saturday, 9 AM - 3 PM

Sunday, N/A

When handling Merry Bakez products, pickup and carry the box carefully from the bottom. On hot days, transport the cake in an air conditioned vehicle.

Delivery, if offered, will incur an additional fee. Our rates are as follows:

Delivery must be arranged at the time of booking. Once your order has been delivered, it is considered accepted and final.

Storage and Consumption

It is the customer’s responsibility to properly store products upon pick-up to ensure freshness and quality. Merry Bakez Inc. recommends:

Remove all inedible decorations (cake topper, flowers, etc.) before consuming any products.

To avoid damage, keep out of direct sunlight, in a cool area. Do not place anything on top of the box. Keep all products on a flat surface.

Cakes: For maximum freshness, keep covered in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Leave at room temperature for 30-40 minutes before serving. Consume within 3-5 days.

Cupcakes, Cakewiches and Cake shooters: For maximum freshness, keep covered in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Leave at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before serving. Consume within 2-3 days

Cake pops and Cakesicles: For maximum freshness, keep covered in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Leave at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before serving. Consume within 3-5 days

Donuts: For maximum freshness, keep covered in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator. Can be heated in the microwave for 5-7 seconds. Consume within 24 hours.

Cookies: For maximum freshness, keep covered in an airtight container or cookie jar at room temperature or in the refrigerator. Cookies can be heated in the microwave for 5-7 seconds. Consume within 3-4 days

Brownies, Blondies, and similar bars: For maximum freshness, keep covered in an airtight container in a cool, dry place or the refrigerator. Consume within 1-3 days.

Chocolate covered fruit: For maximum freshness, keep covered in an airtight container lined with paper towels in the refrigerator. Leave at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving. Best consumed within 24-48 hours.

Chocolate covered Cookies, Pretzels, and Crispy treats: For maximum freshness, keep covered in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Leave at room temperature 5-10 minutes before serving. Consume within 3-5 days.

Merry Bakez Inc. is not responsible for issues arising from improper storage or handling after the order leaves our care.

Force Majeure

Merry Bakez Inc. is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or non-fulfillment of orders due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, power outages, illness, or unforeseen emergencies. In such cases, Merry Bakez Inc. will communicate promptly to discuss alternative arrangements.

Photographs and Marketing

Merry Bakez Inc. reserves the right to take photographs of all orders for promotional purposes, both before and after pick-up.

Cakes or products featuring names or personal messages may be posted on Merry Bakez’s website and social media platforms unless the customer explicitly requests otherwise at the time of booking.

Customer Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate details (e.g., pick-up times, design preferences, and contact information) at the time of booking. Merry Bakez is not liable for issues caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

Liability Limitations

Merry Bakez’s liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the product. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses resulting from issues with your order.
